COVER REVEAL DAY HAS ARRIVED!

“Darling, listen to me. You are not what happened to you. It does not matter what society says. A person cannot be ruined.”

“The Fight for Grace”

Don’t you just love this cover? I am so happy with it. My super-talented nephew Troy Eddy took the photos and created the cover. My lovely daughter is the model! It is extra special to me that she is on my book. I have 5 daughters, so I guess I’ll have to publish at least 5 books. A huge thank to the incomparable Lizzie and Enid Mickelson for the dress design and production. And to the Gunther family for use of their property. My heart is so full with all the generous help I have received to make my debut novel a reality. –Kathleen

Welcome to my website!

Thank you for joining me as I embark in a whole new world of sharing my favorite foods, recipes, books, and travel destinations. I am getting SO CLOSE to publishing my first book, THE FIGHT FOR GRACE. I’ll post more on that later.

SPILLING THE TEA

The first book I will be publishing is a Regency Romance called, THE FIGHT FOR GRACE. I am currently in the last editing phases, as well as creating a cover. I have poured my heart and soul into this book which addresses issues that unfortunately touch all our lives.

My second book is one I wrote with my incredibly talented sister, which we hope to publish sooner than later. That book is called PRIDE AND SENSIBILITY, and it is a second-generation, books-collide, Jane Austen Legacy Romance. Here is a link to our website for that and other upcoming books, https://www.janeaustenlegacyromance.com/

I recently returned from Charleston, S.C. and just one day before hurricane Ian! I have destination and food recommendations to share with you from that trip very soon! Think US history, Civil War, Plantation and slavery tours, alligators, fresh oysters, crab legs, as well as chicken and waffles and a 400 year old tree that is breath-taking! And a bonus of a water-front, romantic place to have a picnic and watch the sun drop below the oceanic horizon!

In a month I will be returning to my favorite island, Kauai, to bask in the jaw dropping sunsets, the powder soft beaches, and warm ocean waves. On the agenda: kayaking the Wailua river, hiking to Secret Falls and the first sections of the Na Pali coast, snorkeling at Tunnels and Poipu Beach State Park, as well as a Na Pali coast dinner cruise on a catamaran. I will have so many adventures to share with you!

I have read two books this week, both of which I adored and will be blogging about on my READ THAT page very soon! SO many fun things ahead! Thank you for being with me.
